François Martineau was born to a middle class family in the city of Lévis, Québec, Canada, just outside of the Province Capital of Québec City. As a young pup, Martineau was a quiet one. In school, he was always attentive and focus in class, but had troubles adapting socially. Which in turn cause him to be bullied alot and suffered from stress and anxiety. But eventually, Martineau's attention to detail and focus allowed him to slowly start coming out of his shell, as he became involved in arts. He enjoyed being able to express himself with a brush or with a crayon, as he started to gain a certain dose of notoriety with other kids. But where he really started to shine was when he got introduce to the sports of basketball.
Martineau seemed to take a liking for basketball, cause he loves the attention for details and technique in which he was good at that was needed to efficiently play. He started to watch same games on tv and was amazed by the playing style of FBA great such like Halley Summers and Vicki Turner. Martineau found many similarities between his abilities in Art and playing basketball and since also sports where also a popular thing over in high school, this allowed Martineau to have a common ground and connect more with other kids in which he was beginning to earn respect for his aparent talent for the game.
Like the care he was giving to every piece of art he was making, Martineau took extra care while practicing. Shooting, Passing, court vision, attention for strategy. There was noting Martineau would not take attention of. He soon started to become a great offensive threat as well of a defensive anchor for his High school team, which won several regionial titles. His focus on defense on keeping at it into covering his man or well his his near perfect release shot he practiced several times, Earned him the discinct Nicknames of The Shield and his most known one The Quebecer Sniper. Building on his ascencion, Martineau would continue to apply his craft through College in Rivière-du-Loup (Wolf Rivers) in Arts then applied for an Art Teaching Degree in the Canadian University of UAL, in Québec City.
