Tori Wetmore is the quintessential scrappy point guard. With a snap in her yap, she is known to be a verbose and intimidating player even for her size. You wouldn't think so, however, if you knew her and her parents before she slashed her way onto the court.

One of five daughters, Tori was born to George and Ester Wetmore (both dentists by trade) in a moderately affluent neighborhood of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Height achievement was highly regarded by the Wetmore's with each of the caiman sisters excelling in their own right. Tori was no exception, finding high marks in academics as well as athletics. She was affable and confident until one crucial game during her high school's championship run.

With seconds left on the clock, Tori stood to put the dagger in their bitter rivals' backs. She was her school's most reliable player at the line. A normally icy unflappable shooter, this was going to be Creektrail High's long awaited victory and Tori was to be their hero. But as the free throw pinged off the rim and the collective home crowd audibly groused, the win they were promised evaporated and Battlehill High would advance. In a moment of rare weakness when the shot heard around Alabama was sunk, Tori began crying inconsolably on court, worsening her embarrassment and humiliation.

Even after graduating high school and the memory of that night fading from everyone's recollection, it was hard for Tori to live down in her own mind. She was recruited heavily by a string of schools in the southern states, eventually settling on Scute College in Mobile, Alabama on a generous athletics scholarship. Redoubling her efforts to never have to swallow a pill like that humiliating defeat ever again, Tori masked her sensitive side while on the court with a cold and hard exterior to compliment her tenacious skills. She became unflappable to downright harsh when she was working, doing her best to compensate for her insecurities despite being a genuinely remarkable player.

Play Style

Tori is an extremely energetic player that is most effective in short but intense bursts. She is a good shooter from most ranges, and is quite accurate at the line. She is aggressive on defense, sometimes a little too aggressive which can get her into foul trouble. She does well even against defenders bigger than her, and is able to move the ball around elegantly. Despite her odd personality, she is a team player not known for hogging the ball. Nevertheless, putting the dagger in the other team is something Tori lives for.

Personality and Personal Life

Tori is socially stunted in most circles. While she is outgoing, she is loud and off putting and behaves in a way that is only appropriate to other caimans. Most times she doesn't realize how intimidating she can be, and other times she wears it like cultural badge. Tori is an obligate carnivore and prefers her food raw or fresher. She often complains about an ex-girlfriend named Heather who she insists was even crazier than her. Despite that, she seems to be obsessed with her, even going as far as to name her flamethrower after her. Also she has a flamethrower. Though she is somewhat of a loudmouth, Tori has never been known to swear. Growing up with dentists for parents, Tori takes almost religious care of her teeth (even though they are naturally replaced every so often) and as a kid she was taught that swearing was a poor use of good teeth.
