From a small town in Sweden, this badger stuck out like a sore thumb since day one. Aside from being born with blonde body instead of the traditional salt-and-pepper badgers are known for and a freckle in one of his eyes, the young mustelid's body found no way but upward ever since an early age. Combine that with the old-fashioned name his parents bestowed to him; popular around small villages, and you'll get a town celebrity in the making. Aside from looking over Scandinavian lore, this young badger enjoys music festivals, writing and driving over snowmobiles.
With a mundane village life, comes the temptation of the big urban cities right around the corner, and with that temptation comes ambition. Now well beyond the 6' 6"" mark in the middle of puberty, Viking decided that the sports world was his calling. Conditioning his body, going to other towns to play basketball, making sure that the Stockholm Stormvind in the EFBL was noticing him whatever the (literal) cost. Slowly but surely, once he reached eighteen, he was sure he was ready to try to get his paw into the EFBL. But setbacks happen.
Liver cancer is not the most manageable of diseases, even if caught early in his case. But it was enough to keep him on surgeries and observation and put everything to a halt. After a brief stint in Sterling Bengtzing's event to boost the Swedish sports' scene, he took his time in dealing with his own ailments, enough to have a fairly positive prognosis in two years; the worry always there, but unlike past relatives of him, his odds improved back to live what could be considered normalcy. When Viking wasn't feeling in low spirits, he was sure to keep his skill the best it could, and once he entered remission, he was ready to knock in the EFBL's door, where he quickly grew into the bigfur du jour. Plus, with such a name and looks, the campaigns and the image was dead set skyrocketing. He became a defensive wall, more often outdoing the team's center, though that didn't stop him in grabbing the center helm if it was so needed of him, with his calm demeanor hiding a ""devil don't care"" attitude on the court.
His large body was deemed an asset, and the level of young energy was unparalleled. Instead of building him into a Stockholm fixture, they were intent in developing his skills good enough to export, signing the young badger to the Swedish Olympic team, and send him to the FBA shortly after.
