Jordan Remington McGrath-Alidis (White Rabbit, born February 27, 1994) is an American power forward currently playing for the Plymouth Taproots of the Furry Basketball Association (FBA).

Biography

After Mitchell Redding's rise to superstardom, many other lapine players have found really difficult to carve themselves a place in the FBA. Just three have been picked in the last four drafts, and even though Dirk Von Stryker has burst onto the scene as one of the brightest stars in the league's future, it took him three seasons of adaptation before finally breaking through. Since 2010 - the year in which Dirk, Ricky Beltran and Harry Redford got drafted - many promising rabbit ballers have been crushed by comparisons with Mitchell Redding itself, especially after the rabbit from California led the Thrust to an incredible triumph in the 2011 Finals. Now, a young rabbit from Wisconsin hopes to be the one to reverse this trend.

Son of a chief firefighter, Jordan McGrath-Alidis grew up in the small village of Abbotsford, hoping to follow in his father's footsteps. However, his dreams were crushed when his father suffered serious burns as he battled a blaze ripping through a brownstone. The terrible wounds he received that night prevented Jordan's father from returning to work, leaving him scarred for life and unable to provide for the support of his family. After this event, the 11-year-old rabbit started suffering from troubled sleep and got diagnosed with anxiety disorder, which turned the always cheerful kit into a permanent bundle of nerves and made it difficult for him to relate with classmates and make friends.

The McGraths' family doctor suggested that their son could benefit from practicing sports, and being Jordan particularly tall for his age, basketball was the natural choice. Although his overprotective mother was a bit skeptical, the young rabbit's health improved considerably and Jordan kept on playing throughout middle and high school, also showing great skill in the game not only because of his height, but also his very good aim.

As Jordan enrolled at James Dwyer University, a private research institute in Southern Wisconsin famous for being one of the very first specially-integrated schools in the United States, the lanky young man developed into a very peculiar player, a stretch power forward shooting threes with the ease of a guard or a small forward. Jordan was a lethal weapon on Dwyer's offense, shooting over 40% from outside during both his freshman and sophomore seasons. Although being very thin and wiry of constitution and not the greatest defender on the team, he put on almost fifteen pounds of muscle during his sophomore year, and despite probably needing to add a bit more to have a concrete shot at the big leagues, his visible efforts to overcome his physical limits speak volumes about the young lapine's drive and dedication.

Jordan's biggest dream is to use part of his basketball earnings to establish a foundation helping children who suffer anxiety-related disorders, in order to help other kids to overcome their disease and have a future as bright as the one he was blessed with.
