Hey Jukora, I've brought you here for an interview, nothing major, we just want to know about you. So let's begin with your name and position on the team.
J.C: Jukora Collins, Point Guard
Ok so, I know we kinda um… requested to interview you quite quickly and at a point where the Minutemen are hard at work, but um…how do you normally dress? Anything of importance, like a lucky charm, or a funky cap?
J.C: I usually wear a hoodie with the team logo and my jersey number on the back. other than that, I wear a pair of jeans.
Awesome, so as a member of the team, surely you live someplace nice!
J.C: Yep! I found a nice apartment to live in. A one-story, two-bedroom apartment!
Sounds great, now let's find out how you think of yourselves. What do you think is the best and worst thing about you?
J.C: The best about me is my basketball skills and my ability to lead when asked and help the team however I can. My worst? It might be my excessive celebrations. I get too into things sometimes, so I always end up over-celebrating.
So let's hear a bit about your history, what's your family like? Any siblings? Are your parents together? Got any girlfriends or boyfriends? What about old-school friends? Come on tell me.
J.C: I'm an only child but my mom is a kind and gentle soul. A southern-born soul. She's a Tennessee native, after all. I'm also single, so ladies…call me. In all seriousness, my dad played basketball in his college days and in South Korea. He basically coached me on how to play. Now he's my agent. As for my mom? She used to be in K-Dramas, basically Korean soap operas when my dad played in Korea. When they moved back to America, as tough as it was, my mom was pregnant with me. When I was born, my dad was the one who named me Jukora. He always said it never meant anything in any real language, but to him, it meant "limitless, without fear".
Wow crazy, now for a more random question. What's your favorite song, food, color, animal, book, and movie/tv show?
J.C: My favorite song? I don't have one. I do love old-school hip-hop, a little jazz, and some hip-hop. My favorite color is silver. My favorite movie or TV show is anything with a lot of action or a good inspiring sports film. Favorite food right now is anything sweet or savory.
Hahahaha nice, what did you have for dinner last night? It can tell a lot about you.
J.C: I dunno how, but I had a pulled pork sandwich with a cold soda
Well I was wondering what is the thing you are most afraid of. Heights, graveyards, spiders, or maybe something a bit different?
J.C: Well I'm afraid of blood honestly. However, I have been learning to get over it. It's a slow process.
Do you know any other languages or maybe just a couple of words in French?
J.C: Well I do know a little Korean. "omanhan sagwaga deo ppalli sanghanda." It means, "the arrogant apple spoils faster"...I know that didn't make a lot of sense, but it's something my mom used to say. She used to be in K-Dramas.
So what is your obsession? Everyone has one or two and I want to know yours so spill.
J.C: Obsession? I don't really have one at the moment.
Ok how would you like to die and why?
J.C: We are getting real candid here aren't we? Well if the Reaper ever came for me and it was my time to go, I would want it to be surrounded by my friends and loved ones. Seeing all their happy faces for the last time. That sounds boring or a little dark, I know, but I don't wanna die yet. I've got a looooong life ahead of me. I'm not wasting it worrying about how soon I'm dying. Life by the day, you know?
So if you had three wishes what would they be? You can't ask for more wishes, bring someone back to life, or true love, those are the big no no's
J.C: Well my first wish would be to remove those restrictions, then my second wish would be unlimited wishes. My next wish would be for the genie or wish-granting creature to be freed from their imprisonment.
What are the three things you would take with you if you got stranded on an uninhabited island?
J.C: It would be my phone, a lighter, and a slingshot with a whole bag of the necessary rubber bands for repairing it. The key to survival on a deserted island is having the means to defend yourself against predators and knowledge of what you should and shouldn't eat.
Ok, another more slightly personal question. What do you like most about the opposite sex? Both appearance and personality-wise.
J.C: Personal huh? Honestly, I would love a girl who is interested in me as a person and not in my job status. I'm a basketball player, sure, but I'm also a person. I want a girl who will love me no matter what. The money shouldn't matter to her. I also want a girl who's honest. Be true to yourself and love yourself. If you can't love yourself, who can you truly love?
How about the same sex as yourself?
J.C: Now for that? I just want guys to be the best version of themselves and be honest with themselves.
So what does your house normally look like? Super tidy or worse that a pig pen?
J.C: 'My mom has been coming over to my place a lot, so I keep it as clean as I can. However, sometimes, she still finds something outta place somehow.
Wow interesting, I'm running low on questions but I think I can find a few more, ah yes, if you could change anything about yourself what would it be?
J.C: The aforementioned habit of over-celebrating.
Um ok, do you believe in magic? Any sort of fantasy thing? Or are you a total non-believer?
J.C: Oh I totally believe in magic. I've believed in it ever since I was a kid. I don't really care if that sounds childish, but it's true. Honestly, when most kids stopped believing in Santa and the Easter Bunny, I still believed and still do today.
So this is the last question before we let you go. What would you do if you were kidnapped and submitted to a hell of a lot of questions, that would supposedly never in a million years end up on the internet?
J.C: Answer the questions. If the plan was to kidnap me, answer some questions, and let me go, then yeah I'd answer the questions and never go to the cops.
So that's it for us! Thanks for your time, Jukora! We do appreciate it and your fans will love this!
