While many would probably agree that Drumming and Basketball have almost no relation at all, Kevin Lokhart would disagree. Before he played basketball, the Adopted fennec fox of two two gay dads started out with a passion for playing drums. It wasn't untill middle school when he, reluctantly, picked up a basketball and played for the school team. He didn't want to play Basket ball it at all in fact. But he was good and didn't realize it yet.        One afternoon after practice, he came home, had dinner with his two dads, then went into his room to practice his drums. While jamming to a song with a slow beat he discovered something. The beat of the song was just like the sound of a Basketball bouncing off the floor. it sounded so similar he decided togo out onto the pavememnt and tried dribbling to the beat of the song.      It may have seemed strange to him but his coaches and team were impressed at how well he controled and handled the ball just by dribbleing a beat. his love of the game grew and his technique worked great for him all the way through middle, and high school his defense and ball handeling and defense abbilities earned him the nickname Redbeat and a scolarship to Canis Lupus Central Community College where he his now a senior.
