As per Montana's recent offer to you:

Why would they be going after you when they have their starting shooting guard in Kresta Renstill? Kresta, who is still with them for two years.

And in regards to Adam: Of course we were going to go for /your/ teammate. Adam has become a key part of San Jose just like you have.

Joseph Na? We drafted him to be backup for you or Christian if ever need be. Plus, we thought you may like a protégé in him.

Never once have we ever thought of replacing you on the starting line.

As for Montana's jab about the finals.... 2019-2020: We made it into the conference semifinals, same as them, and lost (same as them) 2018-2019 (when we had you on the team): We /beat/ them in the conference quarterfinals and made it to the conference semifinals.

Very interesting.

So I ask you: Would you like to live your father's legacy in Montana? Or live your /own/ legacy here in San Jose?

The choice is yours. We keep the no-trade clause agreement in this contract as well as (should you choose) the option to renegotiate the contract after your first two years of it is up.

Please reach out to me if I can do anything more for you, Mike.
