Dear Clarity,

I want to apologize for my original minimum offer to you. While I did not expect another offer to come out for you so late, I admit that it wasn't fair to you to be short-changed due to circumstances beyond your control. The offer from Las Vegas made me realize that you needed to be paid your worth, especially given what you've done for us. It showed me that if I really wanted to keep you with us, a stronger commitment from our end was necessary.

I also will admit that seeing an outstanding offer for you from the team we just defeated in the Finals gave me a sort of reaction, like a Mama Bear with the urge to protect her young from being taken from her. I think that is because to me, Clarity, you feel like family here. You're always and forever a Tallahassee Typhoon. That's just how I feel.

I've recently had a little bit of funds open up, so I've decided to match the offer from Las Vegas. I don't think I could sleep at night if I didn't.

After thinking about it, I decided that offering a longer contract to take you through to the end of your career with us, similar to how we did with Rosalie, is the most appropriate action to take.

You started your career with us. Returned to us. Earned that Sixth Fur of the Year award with us. Earned a championship ring with us.

It seems fitting for you to finish out your career with us. That way you can truly be loved and appreciated by the fans here for the franchise legend you are.

Now, money won't be the reason we lose you to another team. I finally came through on that end. My conscience can rest.

Now it's up to you where and how you want your story to end.
