Biography

Connor Parkes at a very young age struggled to socialize with others, because of this he struggled with his studies and making new friends.

At the time, it was a challenge for Connor's parents. Connor's dad eventually decided the idea of getting Connor involved with team sports might help him gain some confidence to his social and communication skills. Eventually he landed on basketball, as there was a park with courts not to far away and began taking Connor to play as often as he could.

As years went by, Connor was growing up, and during his educational career he had a motivation to be in a sports-orientated activity. He was enjoying basketball more often all thanks to his father who helped him get into the sport. Connor's mother was also a big help, taking him to the park whenever her husband was not available, and letting him know they would always support him.

His play in secondary school was good enough to be scouted by Elion University, where he developed into a first rate slasher. Connor loved to find one on one situations where he could blow past the defender and make it to the basket. His talents got him noticed by the London Jets who offered him a contract after his 2nd year. By this point Connor had dreams of playing in the FBA so jumped at the opportunity gain experience at the professional level.

Now two years later he's looking to make the jump across the pond and prove he can compete in the FBA.
