Biography

In the concrete jungle, you either adapt or you die. Jasper did the former. Born to a rather wealthy family in Manhattan, Jasper’s millionaire parents (his father was a CFO of a logistics company and his mother was the head of the HR Division of a large banking firm) made sure his every need and want were taken care of, except for the one need they couldn’t fulfill: his need to get active. Living in an apartment on Fifth Avenue will make you a chunky, jumpy idiot at times. He started to volunteer for a local shelter, and he started hitting the gym. He was introduced to basketball as a volunteer for an at-risk youth shelter and he seemed a natural at the sport from his early days of playing. Training in everything from three-point shooting (his major point which earned him the nickname “Trigun,” after the anime of the same name) to paint defense, he became a master of mid-game adaptation, able to shift into basically any position from Point Guard to Center, earning him the nickname “Adapto” from his youth teammates. He would attend Suffolk Academy, a private boarding high school in Connecticut after his parents moved there, where he would play basketball and lacrosse and work on expanding his horizons. He would excel as the team’s star player for its five-year secondary school term, unfortunately for a slightly-middling team. Eventually, he would work his way to a scholarship to Ohio State Mammalian University, who recognized his untapped potential and his ability to shift from position to position with utter ease. While in their locker room, he would watch tape from recently-drafted OSMU legend Kassius Waterson and become inspired to play with his intensity and style. He would drop lacrosse entirely, focusing his entire energy onto his first game. OSMU would remain a high-end team throughout his college career, where he would earn a degree in nutritional science, before going into the FBA draft as the adaptable rabbit, having shifted from concrete jungle to brick mansion, and from overexpansion to focus.
