Biography
Kedar’s family originally immigrated from Alexandria Egypt and came to Baltimore. Eventually moving into a brick rowhouse in the Baltimore neighborhood of Harwood. It was not easy for the foreign cetacean family, but they got by. The Rahals got along with their jackal neighbors, and soon after Kedar was born, the two families were helping each other with babysitting and looking out for each other.
Being a very energetic and happy child, Kedar spent a lot of time outdoors at the neighborhood park. And when he wasn’t running around with his friends, they would be sitting and watching the older teens and adults playing streetball on the basketball courts.
As soon as he was in high school, Kedar had signed up with the Basketball team. And taking after his father, the young cetacean was starting to quickly grow taller to outmatch his friends and teammates. Things were going well for Kedar, until one night he was riding back home with some friends, when the car they were in was struck by an intoxicated driver. The impact was bad, but no one was severely hurt. Unfortunately, Kedar had gotten pinned in, and while rescue crews were on the way, a fire started from the leaking fuel. Between Kedar’s struggling and his friends helping, the cetacean was able to escape. But not without injury. He’d spend a long while recovering in the hospital. His friends and family never abandoned him, and were frequently visiting him even on the worst of days. Healing from his injuries had set Kedar back, and when he tried to rejoin the basketball team his senor year, the coach expressed skepticism and doubt that Kedar would be able to keep up with everyone else. However, Kedar felt that the coach had other reasons to keep him off the team, with his background and appearance being major factors.
Not willing to let this go and determined to improve, Kedar took matters into his own hands. He sought out local trainers to help refine his skills. Through relentless practice and a hunger for self-improvement, he gradually developed his skills, exploiting his strengths and working diligently to overcome any perceived weaknesses. Eventually Kedar learned to thrive under pressure, using setbacks and criticisms as motivation to push himself to new heights.
While his family was worried about Kedar and despite the obstacles he faced, Kedar's family provided unwavering support for his basketball aspirations. As the cetacean tried to apply to a number of universities, Kedar felt that he was overlooked by college recruiters and remained under the radar of prominent basketball programs. This lack of external validation only fueled Kedar’s determination to prove himself on a larger stage.
He'd eventually get into Baltimore Bay, and was able to join the college’s basketball team his sophomore year. Kedar would continually work to prove himself on and off the court, being unafraid of challenges that would come up. As he believed the only way out of difficulty was to face it head on and push through.
So when it came time to decide if Kedar wanted to enter into the FBA draft to continue his basketball career, he had no second thoughts as he signed the paperwork and mailed it in.
