Sparf Lupinus is an American Grey Wolf basketball player who grew up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. He was a bookworm growing up, but as a means of survival throughout high school, discovered he had an affinity for the game of Basketball. His parents were not keen on him playing sports, fearing it would limit his output in other endeavors. It didn't, and ended up giving him a strong focus on academics, as well as a team mentality when it came to his time in the town volunteer fire department.When he graduated, he was picked up by the local university, East Tennessee State University, which he attended with the assistance of a basketball scholarship where he picked a major in Storytelling with a minor in History. He did not have much play time at all his freshman or sophomore year, spending most of his time on schoolwork. In his third year, he was promoted to second string, where he proved a solid, though not outstanding player.In the summer before his senior year, the coach promoted him to a starting position as guard. He spent the time when he was not in practices doing free tellings at the international storytelling center in nearby Jonesborough. When he finally returned to start the school year, he'd had a deep-follicle permanent dye job applied to his entire body, turning his fur a rich lime green, but with his characteristic black markings. In the end, though they don't play the same position, he had always looked up to Mitchell Redding as a superstar player, and took the same black eye patch marking that Mitchell has. It was this year, as a starter, that his talents as a Guard began to really shine.Despite his varied other hobbies and interests, he has decided to enter the FBA draft upon graduation this year, to make his career in professional basketball, because it helped to make him the person he is today.
