Biography

Djamba was born to parents who lived in the south side of Los Angeles. After having immigrated from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djamba's family life was filled with its own complications: Djamba's household did not come from especially great money, and growing up in a violent neighborhood did not help much either. Thus, Djamba preferred to stay inside, playing his video games.

He came across basketball at a young age, however, when his mother eventually forced him to go outside to do something. He quickly became a fixture at the nearby street court, shooting hoops with the neighborhood kids. The preds of the court seemed a little on edge and aggressive around young Djamba, however, so Djamba responded by getting as showy as he could. This, combined with an OBox Live subscription in his teenage years, led to him becoming a very showy individual.

This translated best into the home-grown EweTube channel he began under the username CSGDjambaBS. On this EweTube channel, he began to build a great following, both for his over-the-top reactions to pack openings on the latest FBA 2K games, but for the showy stunts he would film with a basketball hoop. The channel began to ascend in subscribers from the time he created it as a 16-year-old, and soon he hit a million subscribers. This proved to be the boost he needed to pull his family out of the poorer neighborhoods, and it facilitated a move away.

Still, even with his EweTube life, he took his physical sport as seriously as any other. His stunts were not enough to carry him into his high school's basketball team, but nevertheless he trained as hard as he could to eventually earn a spot there. And this he did, and while the gaming activity began to slow, his basketball activity began to grow, and it became more exhibition matches and challenges with friends than it did his video game life.

Thus, it came as no surprise to his subscribers when Djamba, fresh out of a run in college at the Furniversity Southern California, declared for the FBA Draft. He entered the Draft with promises of vlogs of his experiences for his subscribers, though he knows that no matter what, the feeling of rushing around on the court will always trump everything else.
