Biography

Calling Kelsey "flashy" is a severe understatement. She is quite flashy with her rather flashy iridescent colors in her feathers. Overall, outside of his basketball aspirations, she was somewhat of a local legend being well known for being a frequent visitor to area raves and clubs. These made for many opertunities for her to show off her quick footwork navigating the dance floor or rolling with the crowd in a mosh pit. It also helped greatly that she never really had to worry about buying glow sticks and such for the raves, due to the fact of how her feathers shined under the lights and backlights.

Her early life was fairly "normal" at least to her. She found her neighborhood to be rather quiet in a small suburb in Lawrence, Kansas. Hard to stay still when there was so much to do, so much to see, but just not there. Her adventurous attitude as a young girl even led her to try and run away to look for "adventure" when she was seven, only to find out she hadn't thought it through, returning home only an hour or so later for snack time and dinner. She was often a rather adventurous kid but the one thing that she feared the most was the one day, while at school that a tornado touched down near home, but luckily her mother had not been home at the time. Overall though, she had always been a warm, bubbly, but excitable young avian who grew up to be very much the same.

During her early basketball years, she played basketball with other avians, canines, and other furs in her neighborhood. Always fast, light on her feet, she easily earned her nickname of blue-bolt as she often moved and struck like lightning, taking defenders by surprise as she passed by them. She was often playing fast and aggressive for her size, even against the larger opponents at the time. Eventually during high school, her popularity grew along with her game. She easily found ways to improve, working through the ranks of her team. Her athleticism, speed, and agility easily aiding her assent to being noted as one of the best up and coming high school athletes to the scouts from various universities.

This eventually got Kelsey noticed and recruited for the Flock University basketball team with a scholarship and ended up being quite the crowd pleaser among the university's student body. While there she worked even harder to show that they were not mistaken for offering her that opportunity between the team and her classes. Kelsey managed to maintain her grades as a student of graphic design, even with dividing his time between the games, practice, and the weekend raves. Frequent sightings at the raves eventually earned her the nickname she adopted of "Rave" and her speed earned her the Sci-fi like nickname of "Blue-shift" among the more science inclined students. Kelsey loved the attention and loved to show off her abilities, within reason. As she seen more and more recruiters and agents touring the games searching for the next star rookie for the FBA or the minors, she renewed her focus, working to increase her abilities from her natural talents. A new goal, a new mark to try for. Kelsey continued her studies, trying to do her best, but she worked the hardest with her game. A new and renewed drive to not only be best in class but to become Best of the Best. Eventually the agent Akkarri arrived touring through the scouting reports and smelling an opportunity. Akkarri was never one to waste a potential opportunity and soon gave Kelsey an offer to promote her, to try and make her into the latest rising star in the FBA. This, she gladly accepted and even worked with Akkarri to develop her own media packets and graphics. Nothing better than to add a touch of one's own to such things. And thus, her new path to try and become a professional began.

Outside of that, she has had ideas and wishes to try and have a "rave" exhibition game. She had seen how some bowling alleys have "Cosmic bowl" evenings, so why not have a "Cosmic" game, set under black lights, and the colorful uniforms. She figured it would make for some fun for charity, but does not know if she'd find the players to buy into the idea.
