Rodney Ballinger is a former-FBA player and noted draft bust, notorious for being the player the Tennessee Moonshiners traded 2008 5th overall pick Rodger Umaechi for. Umaechi, of course, went on to win 2012 FBA Most Valuable Player award, while Ballinger quickly faded from the league.
After being selected 8th overall by the Tallahassee Typhoons and traded on draft day to the Moonshiners for Umaechi (who went to the Idaho Mounties, Ballinger was again traded to the Fusion in 2009 then released to free agency in 2010.
The draft day deal also involved Julia Fernández, the 2008 #9 pick, who was sent from the Mounties to the Typhoons.
